Program Description
One-third of stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA) are cryptogenic. Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) has been suggested as a possible cause for cryptogenic strokes. Dr. Passman and Dr. Bernstein will discuss the importance of determining the cause of stroke, review clinical data and options for continuous monitoring for AF in patients with cryptogenic stroke, and share their experience with continuous monitoring in this patient population.
